Since winning the 2005 American Idol title, Carrie Underwood has seen many of her dreams come true...and then some.

Her first CD, Some Hearts, was the fastest selling debut country CD in history and sold more than 6 million copies. Some Hearts produced 3 No. 1 country hits including, Jesus, Take the Wheel, Before He cheats and Wasted.

Carrie has won 13 major industry awards in 2007 including:

The country music association's female vocalist of the year for the 2nd year in a row, beating out such veterans as Martina McBride, Alison Krauss, Reba McEntire and newcomer, Miranda Lambert.

Then Carrie picked another 3 trophies at the American Music Awards for Favorite Female Country Artist, Favorite Country Album and the special, T-Mobile Text-In Award.

In Oct 2007, Carrie released her 2nd CD, Carnival Ride, with great success. The CD sold more than a half million copies in the 1st week and went double platinum with shipments of 2 million copies. Carnival Ride has produced another No 1 hit single for Carrie called, So Small.

So Small is the 1st song for Carrie to have a co-writing credit. Earlier in December Carrie was honored at two Music Row parties along with the song's co-writers.

At the BMI party, Carrie turned to her co-writers and said, "You guys were so great to me. The song came out so easily and turned into something wonderful." The single, So Small, is Carrie's 5th No. 1 hit song.
